Proposal
It is proposed to revise the game fees for Invitational Tournaments as follows:

Rationale
The current fee structure for Invitation Tournaments does not progress through the categories linearly and discourages the organization of low category events.
The proposed fee structure is a base of $0.50 per game plus an additional $0.25 per game for each category starting from Category 1. It is a linear progression and will encourage lower category events whilst maintaining income from the prestigious higher category events.
Other Comments/Considerations
The standard game fee of $0.50 euros per game will remain unchanged.

Voting Summary
- A vote of Yes will mean the game fees for Invitation Tournaments will be revised.
- A vote of No will mean the Tournament Fees will remain unchanged.
- A vote of ABSTAIN is not a vote but means the vote holder has no opinion and does not wish to represent the correspondence chess players of his or her federation in this matter.

Personally I should be happy to support proposal to reduce rates for such Invitation tournaments. However I should prefer if for the sake of simplicity that we retained the same levels as at present with fees reduced as follows:
Cats. I - III - from 1.25 euros per game to 1.00 euro
Cats. IV - VI - from 2.50 to 2.00
Cats. VII - XIII - from 3.00 to 2.25
Cats. XIV and above - from 3.50 to 2.75
In the past I have received numerous comments from delegates that we charge too much for invitation events regardless of category (a Category 7 event for 15 players is over 300 euros!). Reducing the fees would likely result in more events and increased total income! Indeed it would be possible to argue in favour of an even greater reduction in fees.
